I have finally finished my second page of my double spread. I have added a photo of my main coverline artist into my interview. At first it looked very bare and many magazines arent bare so I decided to extend and make more for the page. I included another quote from the interview in big letters in the middle of the page. This makes it look more real as in my research this occured in many magazines. That made it look better and I was happy however I added page numbers too them both afterwards. My page numbers corresponded with the numbers I gave the interview on my contents page to make sure it was all good. I then to finish had too put both on one page to make it look like a double page spread. I did this by opening a new photoshop and copy and pasting both together into one. This was my final piece of my coursework and overall I was happy with the double page spread and extremely happy after all mine together. After our first school prospectus piece and never using photoshop before that I think that I have been successful in making a good magazine and I am really happy in my work.

Over the weekend and yesterday I have put my questions and answers onto my second page. All my questions were written in yellow and the answers in white. This made a clear indication on the difference in the text and stayed with my overall colour theme. I think it looks good and its all in line with other questions which makes it look good. I have also included the title and a sentence underneath describing the interview. The title is also in yellow and the sentence in white again to stick with the colour scheme. Its coming along but I want to add a picture and hoepfully it will all look good in the end.

In the last few days I have finished my first page of my double page spread and have written the interview out ready to put onto the second page of my double page spread. I had already put the 2 photo's on before and just added an introduction paragraph and a quote from the interview I had wrote for the second page. Although it looks a bit bare normally a first page isnt very informative and it still looks quite good. Now I have wrote my interview out I have an idea of what I want to do on my second page. The questions and answers will throughout the page and I want to include a image and a title and little information line underneath the title. Nearly done now and its all looking good im happy.

Today I have just started the first page of my double page spread. I am including 2 photos that I have taken and I have already put these on my page. I have put one on the top right of my page and the other on the bottom left and have used feathering to make it blur together in the middle of the page. As the 1st part of the double page spread, it wont have much information included so im thinking of putting a beginning to the interview that will be the 2nd page. I might use a quote from the interview on the front page with the artists name to make it look real and professional.

I have now finished my contents page. I came up with an idea for the missing part of the contents page. I came up with the idea of putting my front page on the contents page and putting numbers around the coverlines to show where they are in the magazine. I thought this was a good imaginative idea and it looked really good on my contents page. With the rest of the page and the colours it looked good and as a whole the contents page looked brilliant. I think that the contents page looked better than the front page and I am really really happy with my contents page. Bring on the double page spread.

I am nearly finished with my contents page however I have a big space to fill and need something imaginative to put there. I have included all the magazine information I wanted too and have done this in my colour scheme of black and yellow. I have also added the editors message towards the bottom of the page as I reserahced that many magazines have one of these. Underneath I have added a list of free posters inside the magazine which would be used to engage the reader. All that needs to be done now is fill the gap with either some more information, an image or a cool new idea.

Over the last couple of days I have included some of my thoughts and my contents page is coming together now. So far I have included a sucscription claim along the bottom of my page which looks quite good in white font. I have also included the date and a made up website of my magazine at the top of the page next to my title of the contents page. This looks professional and makes it look better and is a good detail on my contents page. I have added a big white box down the left side of my page which is where I will put my list of interviews etc for the readers. Im going to put the writing in black and yellow to go with the white background fo the box. So far im happy with the contents page and have included everything ive wanted so far.

After finishing my front page I have just started my contents page and have come up with some good ideas. So far I have only added the title however I want to include a list of things in my magazine such as other interviews and stories down the left side whilst having a website, a subscription package scheme, and also want to include an editor messages. I need to look at the layout of the page first before deciding where to put all these features I want on it but I reckon if i stick to the same sort of colour scheme then the contents page should look good.

My front page of my finished music magazine. I have took inspiration from the Vibe magazine which is the same colours as my magazine. As you can see my research had gave me an idea of how my magazine would look and I think looks good. I am going to try to change some things as you can tell bylooking at both of these which is the professional magzine out of the 2. The box idea has come off this magazine too however I have interpreted this more by making it come off the page for extra effect.
Just finished my front page now. I have added text to my font boxes I added on my front page and now it looks good and has the effect of it coming off the page. I think that overall it looks good. The colours are the same throughout and have updated my barcodes and added the pricing and date of the issue of the magazine to make it look more realsitic. The competition star I have added the text to for an incentive to win a competition and make it more appealing to an audience. Overall I am really pleased with my title page as it has looked better than I expected and I am rather happy with the way it looks professional and like a magazine. The image and the colours look really good together and I am pleased with the overall page I have made. Now onto the contents page.

Ive had a few more days now and have really made my front page looking a lot better than before. I have added a selling line at the top of my page just above my image. I have moved my image to the right of the page and on the left put some boxes coming off the page for effect and also for the left third of the page which is where an audience would be seeing first. I have made my headline and made it look more of a 'pop' genre by using some ideas to make it look and aim at the pop audience. All the text is in Yellow and Black as it is corresponding with each colour for example my boxes are yellow so the writing black and the background black so the writng yellow to stay with my theme and house colours. I have just now added my competition star but have some work still to do to make it look real and good.

I Have started my front page and have got my background colour sorted as I have it black, my title of the music magazine completed in Yellow and have also used the lasso magnetic tool to cut out my image of my music composer. At the moment the page looks really bare as I havent put anything on it however I plan to put some boxes and competitions on the left side of the page to make it look better and also plan other stuff like a selling line and barcode and pricing of the magazine too, however its been a good start and I have the ideas that I want to put on my front page. The main problem I have faced is the stance of my artist. The way I have taken the photograph shows he is leaning to the side. After cutting him out I have seen that getting him standing correctly on the page has been tricky however I have rotated the image so that it looks like he is leaning on the end of the page. In my opinion this looks good so far.

Today I am starting my front page of my magazine. I have thought of the name of wireless music magazine and have taken my pictures so am going to include these on my front page. I have a good idea of the type of way I want to lay out my page and am sticking with the black, yellow and white colour theme I had chosen. I will then add the final touches to make it look better and hopefully look professional.
